Trailer In...
Just a two-hour drive from the Canada/U.S. border in Sault Ste. Marie, you can trailer into the area using the Trans-Canada Highway (Highway 17), which is a 126miles/201km drive from Sault Ste. Marie.
For our southern neighbors, Elliot Lake is easily accessible by road via HWY 69 North and HWY 17 West. We are just a six hour drive from Toronto, a four hour drive from Parry Sound and less than two hours from Sudbury.

Sled In...
If you prefer you can sled in and ride right up to the door of Denison House using one of the many connecting trails. Making your way to us on sled from Michigan is easy. Take the ferry at Detour, Michigan across to Drummond Island. Once you are on Drummond Island make your way across the well-traveled D106 water crossing. Proceed east from Thessalon on the Top D Trail to Blind River and take the D105 trail heading north into Elliot Lake or proceed to Spragge and start heading north on the D108 trail that will take you right into Elliot Lake. Either way you will be riding on some of the best trail systems in Ontario.
You can also sled in from Chapleau, Sudbury or Sault Ste. Marie.
Once you are in Elliot Lake you can enjoy day trips, overnight excursions or chose one of the loops popular with visiting snowmobilers.
